Halloween Treats!

Witch "Finger" ham sandwiches!
Roasted Pumpkin Seeds!
Spider and Cat rice krispy treats!
And for those of us with snow in our future....a little snowman!

Our Little Turkey!

This halloween was so much cooler than last year. For one thing, all I could do was lay on the floor and for another thing I was just a silly ol' pumpkin (even though mom thinks I was the cutest thing). This year, it was all my mom and dad could do to keep me from running down the street. I even had  a little run in with this here green chair. Check out the battle wound on my nose. (Mom cried more than I did, even though it was a pretty bad hit.)
Mmmmm.....suckers!
Check out my tail feathers!!!
I can't believe they just give this stuff out! I quickly learned how to get the candy and stick it in my jack 0'lantern bag. This is our sweet across the street neighbor, Mr. Sweeny. His name is Luke, too!
Mom was a witch and Dad was a priest! Happy Halloween everyone!!!

Carving Pumpkins!!!

DURING:
Luke hung in for a little while, but he had to take a little nap to get ready for the rest of the nights festivities. Jeremy worked on carving the pumpkins for three hours, but it was worth the wait!.....Check out his creations--they were the hit of the neighborhood!.....

Apple Picking, Pumpkin Picking, and The Blaze!

We went back to the apple orchard last weekend, so luke could actually pick some apples off the tree. They were delicious and he was so proud of himself!

He picked out the cutest little pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. And after hanging out at the orchard, we headed to Van Cortland Manor for the Great Pumpkin Blaze....It was awesome! It is a huge display of all kinds of ornately carved pumpkins and "funkins." We tried to get some pics, but it just doesn't do it justice! Everyone MUST come up and see it for themselves. The best displays were the dinosaurs, especially the T-rex, and the huge spider web.  I don't know if you can tell, but each one of the dinosaurs is made up of multiple of pumpkins, as well as the spider web.

Luke's Favorite Things from Last weekend

A room with a view! Our room overlooked the heart of Times Square and I was totally entertained by watching all of the buses and taxi's zoom around. It was great to be able to watch things from 41 floors up!

My all time favorite thing from last weekend was riding up and down the glass elevator. I would get so excited as soon as the doors would open and I got to get on. Since we were on the 41st floor, there was a lot of riding time. On our last day, Mom and Dad let me ride a few extra times since I thought this was the greatest thing ever!
I also got to ride on the huge ferris wheel that is inside the Toys R Us in Times square. It was great! I think that roller coaster are in my near future. I am a total dare devil!
I have been a lot of places and tried alot of fruit cups, but Bottega Del Vino has the BEST fruit bowl in the world. It is chock full of all kinds of berries (which is my favorite fruit variety.)
Shhhh......I rode a couple of taxis with out a car seat! I know it was not totally safe, but man was it awesome!
Nope, mom and dad did not put me in here. I pulled the drawers out all by myself and hopped right in!

Some of Jess's Favorite things from Last Weekend

Getting all dressed up for our fancy dinner on the last night if the conference!
Two words: PINK BERRY!!! Hands down the BEST frozen yogurt in the world!
Ok, two more words: JUNIOR'S CHEESECAKE!!! The BEST cheesecake in the world. (Yes, most of my favorites about the weekend centered around food! Anything wrong with that?
Getting to spend some Quality time with Mom and Luke, since Popi and Jeremy were busy the whole weekend with their conference!

Some of Jeremy's Favorite things from Last weekend...

Getting lasagna from Carmine's! SOOO good! (Even luke scarfed it down!)
Having a baby sitter, so Jess and I could go "out!"
Getting to shmooze with Emeril Lagasse and Wolfgang Puck!
Getting to go to my first California Wine Experience in NYC!

Fall Festival

The Great Pumpkin Patch!
Last weekend, we went to a fall festival in Croton Falls while we were helping the Hills move into their new house. We took a break and headed to the festival. The company was great, but the best thing at the festival was the huge slide...

Luke and Morganne and the "baby"

Luke and Morganne played SO WELL together this weekend while we were helping the Hills move into their house. They were so sweet and their favorite thing was to chase each other around the hallway. This is how I imagine their conversation to go....
"I know you don't expect us to sit around on this bench all night while you all are moving the Hills into their new house! I mean, how good do you think two toddlers can be?"
"Morganne, check out your space saver high chair seat....they haven't set this up yet...I think I have an idea for this.....Have a seat..."
Morganne is thinking "Wow, what a great guy! I am in heaven."
Luke is thinking "Ok, enough with this, is it MY turn now?!"
"Hey Morganne, Let's go THAT way!"
"I think that the baby needs a turn, what do you think?"

Morganne says "Are you SURE you are buckling the baby in right? Do I need to come around and do it?"
"WEEEE.....are you having fun baby?  I think we hit a bump in the road. Morganne, you are getting some good practice in since your baby brother will be here in just a few months. I know you will be a great big sister!"
