Blessings!

This year more than ever before I have been counting my blessings both big and small! I have so very many things to be thankful for: two healthy children who bring me more joy than I have ever felt before, a hard working husband who loves me through all my faults!, family and friends both near and far who support me, a great part time job where I get to work with my sweet old people, a church where I feel loved and accepted, and most importantly a God whom I love and give thanks for it all!

Happy Fall and hope that everyone has a wonderful Day of Giving Thanks for blessings both big and small!

Our Little Indian!

SHBC had their annual Thanksgiving Program this morning! Luke has been singing the songs and quoting the poems for two weeks now! He loves to sing the songs, especially at night during bath time. Last year Luke was a Pilgrim, but this year he is four and he got to be an Indian...MUCH for fitting for him! :)

He did a GREAT job and was much more into it than he was last year. No stage fright in sight for him! Ha!

Great Grandmother Marion was there!

As well as, Great grandmother Betty and Great granddaddy Jack!

Mimi wouldn't miss it either!

Luke has already learned so much this year and his teacher, Miss Dana, has been WONDERFUL! She is the cutest, sweetest thing and Luke LOVES her!

It's little moments like these that make the everyday, extraordinary! We are so proud of our growing boy! Looking forward to Turkey Day!!!

BOO!

Who says you can't go to the pumpkin patch on Halloween day?! Sure the pumpkins were picked over, but at least me made it for our annual pumpkin pictures!

I still have not perfected taking the perfect picture involving two kids! This was the best one out of a ton.

Happiest baby in the world meets her very first pumpkin!

We got an oversized pumpkin especially so we could fit Lucy inside. I had so much fun with it this year. I am so sad that I didn't know to do this when Luke was tiny! Thanks again to Annie for making our pumpkin hats! Lucy was a trooper and would have stayed in the pumpkin for hours. LIke I said before, happiest baby on the planet!

I can't decide which I like better, Lucy in the pumpkin hat or with her Halloween bow....you decide.....

And after the pumpkin pictures, it was time for the real costumes! Can you tell these two LOVE each other like crazy! I am not sure who loves who more?

Lucy the Lady bug!

Luke the pirate! Daddy thought to draw on the mustache and I think it MADE the costume! Good job, daddy!

Then it was time to meet up with cousin Collin who was Big AL!!! You know what's harder than getting an almost 8 month old and an almost 12 month old to both look and smile at the camera?.....

adding a 4 and a half year old to the mix! hahahah... so much for the "perfect" picture!

And just like that Halloween 2011 is in the books!
