Halloween Treats!

Witch "Finger" ham sandwiches!
Roasted Pumpkin Seeds!
Spider and Cat rice krispy treats!
And for those of us with snow in our future....a little snowman!

Our Little Turkey!

This halloween was so much cooler than last year. For one thing, all I could do was lay on the floor and for another thing I was just a silly ol' pumpkin (even though mom thinks I was the cutest thing). This year, it was all my mom and dad could do to keep me from running down the street. I even had  a little run in with this here green chair. Check out the battle wound on my nose. (Mom cried more than I did, even though it was a pretty bad hit.)
Mmmmm.....suckers!
Check out my tail feathers!!!
I can't believe they just give this stuff out! I quickly learned how to get the candy and stick it in my jack 0'lantern bag. This is our sweet across the street neighbor, Mr. Sweeny. His name is Luke, too!
Mom was a witch and Dad was a priest! Happy Halloween everyone!!!

Carving Pumpkins!!!

DURING:
Luke hung in for a little while, but he had to take a little nap to get ready for the rest of the nights festivities. Jeremy worked on carving the pumpkins for three hours, but it was worth the wait!.....Check out his creations--they were the hit of the neighborhood!.....

Apple Picking, Pumpkin Picking, and The Blaze!

We went back to the apple orchard last weekend, so luke could actually pick some apples off the tree. They were delicious and he was so proud of himself!

He picked out the cutest little pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. And after hanging out at the orchard, we headed to Van Cortland Manor for the Great Pumpkin Blaze....It was awesome! It is a huge display of all kinds of ornately carved pumpkins and "funkins." We tried to get some pics, but it just doesn't do it justice! Everyone MUST come up and see it for themselves. The best displays were the dinosaurs, especially the T-rex, and the huge spider web.  I don't know if you can tell, but each one of the dinosaurs is made up of multiple of pumpkins, as well as the spider web.

Beep Beep!!

Who ever thought of this shopping cart invention was a genius! Luke LOVED wheeling around the grocery store and it made a not so fun chore, fabulous! We could have stayed in the grocery store for hours!
