Hands on the Belly

Thankfully not many people that I don't know have randomly come up to me and put their hands on my belly.... but I don't mind if friends and family do!

Baby Bump 32 weeks!

Yes, that really is my baby belly and not just a pillow under my shirt : ) !!! Happy Easter, everyone!

Baby Bump 29 weeks!

What a difference a month makes!!!Like magic my belly seemed to just pop out one day. Kinda like baking a turkey, LOL. It was almost overnight. I catch people looking at my belly now and smiling. The baby seems to be doing great. Not only can Jeremy feel the baby, but now you can actually see him move my belly. One of my favorite things to do is to lean back and just watch my belly jump and move. I can't believe he will be here in just a few months!

Baby Furniture!!!

Yeah!!! Our crib and changing table was delivered today! We recruited help from our neighbors, Dave and Annie, and were able to get the crib installed in about an hour. There is still a lot to do, but we are slowly but surely getting things checked off our list. We have moved our computer desk into the den and moved two wardrobes full of clothes down to the basement in preparation for the baby furniture. I can't wait to see the final product. When I saw these pictures, I was like "Where did that belly come from?"

Baby Bump 25 weeks!

Here is the baby belly shot at 6 and 1/5 months! You can see that he is showing a little bit more, especially from the side. It is not as obvious if you look at the front view.

We need what???

We began the totally overwhelming task of registering for all of the baby "stuff." I thought that I had a basic idea of what the necessities were and what were just nice extras, but WOW, is this a whole new world! Our place is tiny, so we are trying to get by with the bare essentials but there are so many things that this tiny little baby needs. It was great looking at all of the fun things like strollers, baby beds, and pack and plays, but then we got to the "baby care" section.... this is where they had things like the diaper cream, thermometers, and medicine syringes! We left the store happy, but speechless. We were both thinking "How are we going to take care of another little person?" We were in the store for about 3 and 1/5 hours and we did not even get done. We closed them down. There is a pic of the baby crib that we picked out (that is not the bedding we will get.) We still have at least two more stores to register in. Thankfully, we will know what we are in for when we go to the next store.

Just Kicking around...

Jeremy was finally able to feel the baby move this past Sunday morning! I felt the first twinge on Christmas eve, but I have really felt the baby moving recently. In fact, on Saturday night during dinner, it felt like he was doing back flips! I was eating spicy food, so I don't know if that meant that he really liked it or really didn't like it!!! Haha!
