Happy Mother's Day 2011!
Luke's new name should be Luke "Sweet Tooth" Payne! He is such a sweets guy. This is one of my favorite pictures of him of all time. His favorites are skittles, brownies, and rice krispy treats, but pretty much anything sweet will do. His new favorite thing is to lick the bowl!
He is still the sweetest big brother and is all about showing her off to everyone he meets. At church on Wednesday night, he was strolling her and wanted to show everyone what he calls "his baby." I caught him explaining how to shoot his toy to her in the picture above.
Luce Pooce, as Luke calls her, had her 2 month check up this past Wednesday. She had to get her first shots which she absolutely HATED.... She cried real tears after getting them. She now weighs 10 pounds 10 ounces (50th percentile) and 23.25 inches long (75th percentile). She still has the walking reflex (we got it on video and hope to get it posted soon).
She is giving away smiles like crazy now and has started cooing. I love it when we have our little conversations and her smiles make the night feedings and lack of sleep all worth it.
