Spring Break Day 5: Dunlap

On Wednesday, we went to the Dunlap nursing home service with Mamaw and Papaw. This was where their nursing home ministry started almost 30 years ago. They used to take Dad to this nursing home when he was my age and there are still people working there that remember him as a baby.
I was really moved by the spirit today and once they gave me a song book and I decided to jump right in. Even though I didn't know any of the words, I sang my little heart out. Mom and Dad loved it and so did all of the residents. Mom was just sick that we didn't have our flip video camera with us. On the chorus of Love lifted me, I would shout out  "ME!" It was too cute!

Mamaw has a shot of Daddy in this same exact spot in front of the house where they lived when Daddy was my age.
After the service, we stopped by Luke and Carolyn's house for lunch. I couldn't come to TN without seeing my namesake, Luke Rutherford!
